Guadalajara and traveling/cestování

Over the past few months, I’ve traveled a lot in Mexico. My first trip was with Rotary to the orientation meeting near the city of Morelia, which is about a 5-hour drive from Guadalajara. We arrived late in the evening due to traffic jams along the way and stayed in cabins at a resort. There, I met all the new exchange students and made many new international friends. Just a week after this first Rotary trip, I finally started school. My school is quite far from my house, about an hour’s drive, but it’s close to my second host family’s home and located in the city center. The school is large and very different from what I’m used to in the Czech Republic. Everything, except for the classrooms, the administration office, and some hallways, is outdoors. The school also has several snack bars that sell Mexican and other treats. Additionally, the school offers free access to various sports activities, a swimming pool, and a gym.
